WITHIN A YEAR STUDENTS OF ALL AGES ARE PLAYING
 30 TO 50 GREAT-SOUNDING SONGS

as well as composing, improvising, and reading lead sheets

Simply Music is a revolutionary, Australian-developed
piano and keyboard method
that presents a breakthrough in music education.

Students of all ages are playing, hands together, great-sounding blues,
contemporary, classical and accompaniment pieces -
immediately -from their very first lessons!

Simply Music has opened up the world of music-making for our 9 year-old son in a way that we never could have imagined.  My husband and I are conservatory trained classical musicians.  When we first attempted to teach our son piano using the traditional method of reading music, we were met with frustration and his eventual refusal to continue with lessons.  Now nine months later, he literally runs to play piano mornings before school.

Extraordinary results are the norm:

within 3 months and with only 20 minutes of practice a day
all ages* are already playing, hands together,
eight to ten
relatively advanced,
mature, and sophisticated-sounding
.
songs
of many different styles

In contrast to traditional methods, this remarkable outcome is possible because the Simply Music program uses an entirely new and far more natural approach and focuses on the sheer fun of playing music.

Simply Music is attracting the attention it is because:
  • students play great-sounding classical, blues, contemporary, and accompaniments immediately
  • students develop of huge repertoire from the first lessons
  • students learn more quickly than in traditional lessons
  • students learn more easily than in traditional lessons

REMARKABLE RESULTS ARE GUARANTEED!

Imagine being able to sit at the piano and within a year being able to express yourself musically
through a repertoire of thirty to fifty pieces as well as composing and improvising!

Have you always dreamed of playing piano?   People of all ages, with only 20 minutes a day, can be playing 10 songs in 3 months!  By temporarily postponing reading and introducing students to a more easy and natural playing-based methodology students are able to achieve astounding results immediately.

Simply Music's fundamental goal is openly declared and distinctly different from traditional methods.  The content of the method and the standards of measure applied to the curriculum as a whole are dictated by this goal:

To maximize the likelihood of students acquiring and retaining music as a lifelong companion.

When you enroll in Simply Music piano lessons your chances of achieving that outcome are enhanced by the nature of how the methodology unfolds.  While you are working towards that goal you will also be:
  • immediately experiencing your musicianship as a natural self-expression;
  • immediately developing and playing a vast repertoire covering a broad array of musical styles and genres;
  • developing the ability to self-generate, i.e. the ability to progress independently.  This includes developing a foundation of music reading, writing, composition, improvisation, arrangement, structure and theory, etc.
  • enjoying a highly positive experience throughout the music learning experience
  • acquiring and retaining music as a life-long companion

Did you know that there are 16 million unused pianos in American homes?  Usually when parents stop forcing their kids to play they stop taking lessons.  Insisting that students learn how to read as the means of playing can be a very frustrating experience and far too many people who take lessons never acquire the skills of playing piano.

The truth is that out of 10 primers sold, there is only one of the next level sold.  Millions of people want to play but unfortunately they often find it a slow, frustrating, and difficult process.  Immersing students in playing from their first lessons, using the user-friendly playing-based Simply Music methodology, means people get to go straight to the fun stuff!  Learning how to read happens so much more easily and naturally once the playing-based foundation is established.  Music is a language, just as talking is, and after all, don't we all learn how to talk before we learn how to spell and read?

To find out how you can join the thousands of students of all ages (including those with special needs) who are experiencing their own natural musicality from the very beginning, come to a free introductory session.  You will hear how Simply Music differs from traditional lessons, you will find out what the results are and how we achieve such remarkable results, as well as how this method was created.  You will also get to see and hear a demonstration of what students are accomplishing with this program as well as have an opportunity to learn a song yourself.

*Generally, students younger than 7 and older than 60, while still achieving astounding results, will progress slightly slower.

Simply Music is for all ages and abilities!

What other students are saying about Simply Music, including a 4-time emmy winner:

Read what Marc Bonilla, Emmy nominee, says: Testimonials

My 7-year old daughter started taking piano lessons a little more than a year ago with Sheri Reingold of Simply Music.  I am so impressed with my child's progress and the level of enjoyment that she derives from playing all sorts of genres (classical, blues, contemporary, improv, etc.) on her piano.  Sheri treats my daughter as a musician, not as a little kid.  She sets a high standard, and then breaks the lessons down into achievable bite-sized steps appropriate for my daughter's age and ability.  I love the way music and piano belong to my daughter and have become a part of her own self-identity.  Sheri has a wonderful teaching style that she adapts to her learner's needs.  She is lively and fun and makes the kids feel so great.  Her passion engages the kids and even after a handful of lessons they were already real musicians and improvising too!  I highly recommend Sheri Reingold -- and the Simply Music program -- for aspiring pianists of any age.

I have attempted to learn to play piano several times throughout my childhood and adult life. The results of traditional piano teaching methods were not stellar in my case. After years of stops and starts, I had a repertoire of two songs that I could eventually play fairly fluently, if I had sheet music in front of me.   Not until I found the Simply Music method did I ever feel I could really play piano.  I now have a significant repertoire, I feel empowered to improvise and create music of my own, and I have developed a much better understanding of the language of music.  I can entertain myself at the piano and play for an hour easily without ever looking at a sheet of music.  Thank you Sheri Reingold and Simply Music!

Today we went to a friend's house, I didn't know it ahead of time, but it turned out they have a piano.  Lauren was very excited to play her songs to everyone on a real piano.  She even sang the words.  People were amazed she's only had two lessons.  And on Friday she played for her best friend Madeleine who's had ten traditional lessons.  Madeleine said, hey, that's not fair, I didn't learn to play both hands together, and my songs didn't have words!  I'm very happy with how she is doing so far.  Her dad went away for two weeks (right when we started lessons).  He will be amazed when she plays for him this weekend!  Two whole songs, both hands and singing.  She's planning a little recital for him. . .
